DODA, Feb 2: Gandoh Police arrested a most wanted thief-cum-absconder.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Gandoh led by SHO Inspector Vikram Singh under the supervision of SDPO Gandoh Sahazada Kabir Matoo and SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom conducted raid and apprehended a most wanted thief-cum-absconder from Samie Kounaghati Changa area of Gandoh.
The arrested accused was identified as Farooq Ahmed Rather alias Farooq Kala, son of Mohammad Sharief Rather alias Sharief Kala of Thaloran Tehsil Gandoh District Doda.
He was wanted in several cases registered at different Police Stations including Police Station RS Pura, Channi Himmat and Reasi. He was also involved in burglary cases registered in Police Station Samba.
