Mortal remains of two Indians killed in UAE terror attack brought to India

AMRISTAR, Jan 21:
The mortal remains of the two Indians killed in Monday’s Houthi drone attack in Abu Dhabi arrived in Amritsar on Friday morning.
The two coffin caskets containing the mortal remains of the two Indians arrived in Amritsar from the UAE.
Earlier, the Indian Ambassador in UAE Sunjay Sudhir had informed that the remains were being sent to India and they were coordinating with the Punjab Government for local support.
The bodies were sent after completing all formalities for the repatriation, the Indian Ambassador said. The two Indians were killed when three tankers exploded as a result of a drone attack launched by the Houthi rebels in Abu Dhabi on January 17 in ICAD 3, Mussaffah, near Mohamed bin Zayed City.
India has condemned the terror attack in the strongest terms and said that such an attack on innocent civilians is completely unacceptable and against all civilized norms.
Two other Indians were also among the six persons who were injured in the incident on Monday and they have been discharged after treatment. (UNI)
