UDHAMPUR, Jan 21: Udhampur Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband heroin like narcotic substance from his possession.
The accused, identified as Arun Sharma of Mand, Udhampur, was apprehended by a police party, led by In-charge PP Tikri, PSI Abdul Satar during patrolling near Kali Mata temple, Tikri.
On frisking of the accused, Police recovered three grams of contraband heroin like narcotic substance. In this regard case FIR number 14/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered in PS Rehambal and further investigation into matter has been taken up.
