JAMMU, Feb 16: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir conducted a meeting of its all Morchas at Party Headquarter, here, today.
The meeting was addressed by J&K BJP president, Ravinder Raina who was accompanied by J&K BJP vice-president and Prabhari Mahila Morcha, Anuradha Charak, BJYM Prabhari, Ajay Pargal and SC Morcha, Prabhari, Jaidev Rajwal which was attended by BJP Morcha Prabharis, presidents and general secretaries.
SC Morcha State president, Prof. Gharu Ram Bhagat, OBC Morcha State president, Brahmjot Satti, Kissan Morcha State president, Omi Khajuria, ST Morcha State president, Haroon Choudhary, Morcha general secretaries and other prominent Morcha leaders from all seven Morchas of the party participated in the meeting.
Ravinder Raina, while addressing the meeting said that the Morcha leaders must finalize the road map for the forthcoming Assembly elections in Jammu & Kashmir. He said that the Morchas form the backbone of the party as they are the main feeders of the party and carry message of party to the ground level. He said that each Morcha should hold continuous meetings in which roadmap to strengthen the party at grass root levels. He said that the Morcha leaders must increase their working within their respective communities understanding their individual needs implementing welfare schemes at the ground level.
Raina also stressed on the active participation of Morcha leaders in the development works along with the organizational works of the party. He stated that the party will formulate a strategy to strengthen the Morchas in order to further strengthen the party.
Morcha leaders also discussed their organizational and other issues with the senior party leaders in the meeting.
