Moong, its dal rises on paucity of stocks

NEW DELHI, Nov 9 (PTI) Moong and its dal prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today on increased demand against paucity of stocks.
Traders said paucity of stocks in the market against increased demand mainly led to rise in moong and its dal prices.
In the national capital, moong and its dal chilka local rose by Rs 100 each to Rs 5,700-6,100 and Rs 6,200-6,600, while moong dal dhoya local and best quality were traded higher by similar margin to Rs 6,400-6,500 and Rs 7,000-7,100 per quintal, respectively.
Following are today’s pulses rates per quintal:
Urad 3,800-4,500, Urad Chilka (local) 5,100-5,300, best 5,400-6,000, Dhoya 5,700-6,100, Moong 5,700-6,100, Dal Moong Chilka local 6,200-6,600, Moong Dhoya local 6,400-6,500 and best quality 7,000-7,100.
Masoor small 4,000-4,200, bold 4,200-4,300, Dal Masoor local 4,750-4,850, best quality 4,800-4,900, Malka local 4,800-4,900, best 5,000-5,100, Moth 4,200-4,500, Arhar 4,000-4,300, Dal Arhar Dara 5,700-5,900.
Gram 3,000-3,900, Gram Dal (local) 3,600-3,800, best quality 3,700-3,800, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,500, Rajdhani 1,500, Rajmah Chitra 7,300-10,300, Kabli Gram small 3,700-5,500, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100, Lobia 3,700-5,300, Peas white 2,950-3,000 and green 3,050-3,175. (PTI)
