JAMMU: The month-long Budget Session is likely to be held in the first week of January in this winter capital of the State.
“The Government has decided to hold business session likely in first week of January,” Kavinder Gupta, Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly told UNI here on Sunday.
He said the complete budget session could not be held in Srinagar due to interruptions by the opposition over GST implementation in the State and added, “Budget session in Jammu shall be of 30 to 35 days.” (Agencies)
