JAMMU, Apr 21: The Maha Jayanti of Sri Monglishwar Bairav was celebrated today on Vashak Krishan Paksh Panchmi at an impressive function held at Geeta Bhawan, Mandir complex in Muthi.
The function was organized by Sri Monglishwar Asthapan Prabhandhak Committee, (SMAPC), Sirnoo, Monghama of Pulwama district.
Large number of Bairav devotees participated in the day long function which included a special Bairav Pooja.
Speaking on the occasion Bhaskar Nath Bhat, president SMAPC exhorted the devotees to maintain conscious synchronization between the traditions, culture and beliefs.
General secretary, Sunil Bhat said it is really a good sign that the large number of the devotees participated after two years of COVID caution. Truly the Power of performing the rituals provides absolute pleasures, he added.
