JAMMU, July 10: Mohalla Welfare Committee, Upper Shiv Nagar held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president NS Anand, in which the resident of Upper Shiv Nagar and surrounding areas participated.
While speaking, Anand expressed concern over the irregular and inadequate supply of water from Rajpura Pumping and Distribution Station (RPDS) for the last over three months.
“We had taken up the issue with Chief Engineer and SE Mechanical, but nothing has been done till date, compelling the people to come on roads”, he added.
Anand urged the PHE Minister to intervene in the matter and redress the grievances of the people at the earliest.
