JAMMU, June 8: The residents of Ganga Nagar, Sector-3, Gurah Brahmana, Bantalab, framed a Mohalla Welfare Committee in a meeting, today.
Madan Lal Sharma was unanimously elected as president with Pandit Ravi Kumar Sharma as general secretary, Sham Lal Sharma as cashier and seven others as members of the Committee.
The meeting also discussed various hardships faced by the residents which included shortage of safe drinking water, provision of new 250 KVA transformer, up-gradation of lanes and drains and mitigation of problems faced by them.
