Modi took historical decisions for betterment of J&K: Pawan

UDHAMPUR, May 22: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), vice president, Pawan Khajruia today stressed on coordination between party activists to counter the false propaganda launched by opposition parties against the Narendra Modi Government and BJP.
Addressing a party meeting here, which was attended by the office bearers and the people who recently joined the party in the town under the leadership of Union Minister, Dr Jitendra Singh, Khajuria highlighted the various developmental programmes started by Modi Government in the UT. He said those who looted the State exchequer during their six decade long rule and filled their own coffers by promoting their dynasties are under desperation of losing power so they are making wild and baseless allegations against BJP Government.
He said it was the Modi Government which treated both regions of the J&K at par and the decades old discrimination with Jammu region has ended. The grant of reservations to IB people at par with LoC residents, Delimitation of constituencies in which the Jammu got its due right, construction of new power projects , Medical colleges, IIT and IIMs, AIIMS, four lanning of NH and Akhnoor road, Devika Project, sanctioning of industrial package and grant of citizenship rights to lakhs of West Pak refugees are the historical decisions taken by Modi Government.
He urged the party men to fan out in different parts of the district and apprise the people of these public welfare schemes and projects including rejuvenation of Devika river in Udhampur and construction of new power projects which will change the fate of people of the UT.
Pawan Khajuria asked the people not to pay attention to falsehood of opposition parties who are neck deep in corruption and who over the years have looted the resources of the State.
