JAMMU, Apr 3: BJP Prabhari for J&K and MP, Avinash Rai Khanna said if Narindera Modi led Government comes to power at Centre it will pursue all policies of Vajpayee led NDA Government for the welfare of the people of the country.
Talking to reporters here, today along with Party general secretary, Kavinder Gupta, Prof Hari Om political advisor to State president, Party vice president Col (retd) Uttam Singh in charge Jammu –Poonch, Lok Sabha seat, Yudhvir Sethi, Mr Khanna said during the Vajpayee rule common man heaved a Sigh of relief as the prices remained under check and there was total availability of cooking gas which is the main concern of women folk.
He, while making a dig at UPA said that prices have skyrocketed in its rule and the relations of India have strained with neighbors during its reign which had improved during the Government of Mr Vajpayee.
He said to put the things in right direction and lead nation to the best satisfaction of its masses, India needs a dynamic leader like Mr Modi.
Khanna said Mr Modi has capacity and capability of taking entire nation along with him. He said pro-Modi wave has gripped the nation to such an extent that at Lal Chowk in Central Kashmir of Srinagar, pro Modi slogans rent air during BJP’s recent meeting there because every one in the country wants him to be the Chief Minister.
He expressed the hope that J&K people will not lag behind the country in making their good contribution in installing Modi as next PM by casting their votes in favour of party candidates.
He said the West Pak refugees issue is still there while the PoK refugees have been deprived of the compensation etc and BJP if voted to power will take the care of all these problems.
Earlier Brig (retd) Anil Gupta joined the BJP in presence of Party leaders. He was taken into Party fold by Mr Khanna and other leaders.
