Modi should speak for 2 min on why Kathua case is ‘minor issue’: Omar

SRINAGAR: Reacting to the Prime Minister daring the Congress president to speak for 15 minutes without a paper, former J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said once Rahul Gandhi does that, Narendra Modi should be asked to speak for two minutes on why rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl is ‘a minor issue’.

“I hope @RahulGandhi takes up the Hon PM’s challenge & speaks w/out using notes for 15 min about the Karnataka Govt & then perhaps we can ask the Hon PM to speak for 2 min about why the rape & murder of an 8 year old girl is ‘a minor issue’,” Mr Abdullah, who is the working president of National Conference (NC), wrote on micro-blogging site twitter. 1. Yes Kathua Case is not just a case but a tragedy and needs serious condemning . Some politicians of the state are asking he Honorable Prime Minister to speak for two minutes about it. Yes they have a right to say so. But will they feel shy for their failure to speak and maintaining of silence on the genocide on kashmiri pandits when they are living as refugees in their own country. Charity begins at home. Do it first then preach. Regards.
