KISHTWAR, June 7: Minister of State (MoS) Sunil Sharma today said that BJP led Government at the Centre is working very sincerely for the poor and down-trodden of society and special emphasis is being laid on their socio- economic upliftment.
He was addressing a public rally organized here at Chattru, Inderwal, to celebrate the three years of corruption free Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Vice-Chairman, OBC Board, Rashpal Verma and senior leader, Tariq Keen, were also present.
He said that BJP is a cadre based party which was formed on principles of “Nation First, Party Second and Self Last” and every activist of party is committed to it. He also mentioned various achievements like “Demonetization” and “Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan”. Today the transport corridors are being evolved into the economic corridors under the guidance of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, he added.
Rashpal Verma, acquainted the gathering of various public welfare schemes initiated by the Central and the State Government and urged the public to take the maximum benefit out of them. He asked the party volunteers to form a daily habit to meet the public and reach every nook and corner of the region to have the first hand experience of their surroundings and study the needs of public so as to mitigate the sufferings of the masses.
While urging to work whole heartedly to serve the society, he also said that Modi Government has initiated many schemes for the downtrodden and the neglected sections and the activists of the party are duty bound to take them to the target population.
