JKGTF delegation calls on CEO Kathua

KATHUA, June 7: A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Government Teachers Forum (JKGTF) called on Chief Education Officer Kathua under the leadership of Surjeet Singh Jasrotia, District president of the forum and submitted charter of demands.
The main demands, discussed with Chief Education Officer, were implementation of transparent transfer policy in favor of teaching community without favor to provide fair justice, adjustment of surplus Masters deputed in various schools for years, clearing all the time bound cases of teachers and non-teaching employees, submission of all pending files of ReT’s/KGBV teachers to the Directorate for regularization, timely release of salary grants of Head teachers/ teachers under SSA, rationalization of teaching staff and providing second teacher in single teacher schools, cancellation of all attachments of teachers, modification of transfer order of teachers in  winter zone Malhar, clearing of pending liabilities of MDM since 2010 and freight charges, submission of files of water men cum cooks for the regularization, submission of post facto sanction cases of teacher for post facto permission of teachers who have acquired degrees during the in service period, conducting departmental audit of all ZEO offices of the District.
The CEO gave a patient hearing to all the demands and said that a transparent transfer policy will be implemented as per transfer norms.  He further informed that surplus teachers of the district will be adjusted in the deficient staff schools and in the order it will be mentioned that after two years they shall be considered as relieved from their duties and will be given choice postings. All ReT teachers who have been transferred are relieved and those having court stay will be also transferred after vacation of court stay. All transfer modification of teachers Zone Malhar have been done while  all ReT/ KGBV teachers files for regularization have been sent to Directorate office Jammu as on date and no file is pending.
CEO Kathua also added that teachers working in the office of different zones are relieved as per Government. order and violation of the order will be dealt seriously.
The delegation comprised of  Amar Nath Thakur, Parveen Singh, Kuldeep Singh PEM, Dharam Singh, Angrez Singh, Kehar Singh, Rajesh Sharma, Tara Mani, Krishan Lal, Bishan Swaroop and others.
