Modi Govt failed to provide corruption free rule: Chib

JAMMU, Feb 12: State Youth Congress lambasted the Modi led Government at the Centre for its failure to provide corruption free governance to the people of nation.
Intensifying its campaign ‘Chalo Panchayat Chalo Ward’ in Ward No 48, Bahu Fort area of Jammu city today, State Youth Congress under the leadership of its president Uday Chib, listened to the grievances of people living in the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Chib appreciated the AICC president Rahul Gandhi for giving a very unique programme to Youth Congress to organise the Abhiyan where youth could get an opportunity to connect the people directly and to know about the problems being faced by them.
Attacking Prime Minister, Narendra Modi as well as the BJP Government at the Centre for their wrong doings, corruption and failures, Chib said that BJP Government is responsible for the hardships being faced by the youth.
“It is the need of the hour that Government must strengthen and implement the policies for the welfare of youth so that they would not face any inconvenience and would not indulged in the anti-social activities,” he said, adding that the previous BJP Government has been completely failed to continue it.
Reacting on the corrupt practices of Central Government, PYC State president alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has failed to keep his promise of giving corruption free Government as he directly transferred Rs 30,000 crore to Anil Ambani in the Rafale scam.
“Why has the Government imposed so many taxes on the common man? Why the prices of petrol and diesel not reduced? Where are the two crore jobs per year as promised?” Chib asked.
Chib said PM Modi had promised 1.5 times more minimum support price to their products, but the reality is that number of suicides of farmers and labourers in rural areas is mounting and that’s why they stopped releasing the official data.
PYC chief asserted that Congress is the only Party which can give stable Government in the State and will resolve the miseries of the people of the State.
Rajat, Naresh Sharma, Balram, Babli, Vimla ,Romi, Durgadeep Singh and Bunty were also present.
