The recent unprecedented indiscipline in the State Assembly has exposed the real colour (attitude) of our elected representatives. The scene was not less than a fish market, breaking tables, throwing mikes, occupying the well of the house and raising high pitched slogans has unfortunately become a trend now.
One fails to understand why the politicians use unparliamentary language and do not hesitate to issue statements regarding some sensitive issues which have the potential to create confusion and law and order problem within and outside the State legislature.
Keeping in view the trend of misconduct and misbehaviour by our elected representatives, there is urgent need to make necessary changes (amendments) in the representative laws to make our elected representatives abide by the guidelines strictly in order to make the future Assembly sessions disruption free and peaceful.
