SRINAGAR, Aug 23: Twenty mobile phones and some incriminating material have been recovered from the inmates of the Baramulla Jail in north Kashmir, officials said here today.
“Police and jail authorities recovered 20 mobile phones and other incriminating material during a search at Baramulla Jail,” a senior police officer said.

He said a case has been registered in this regard and investigations are in progress.
The officer did not give any further details.
This is the second time this year that authorities have recovered mobile phones from the Baramulla jail.
Fourteen mobile phones were recovered in April this year from the same prison.
