JAMMU, Aug 13: MLC Ashok Khajuria today sanctioned Rs 10 lakh for construction of a mini-hall in Shiv Temple, Shiv Market, Railway Station, Jammu.
The amount was sanctioned by the MLC from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) during a function held in the Temple complex. While sanctioning the amount, the MLC said that the mini-hall will be constructed at second floor of the Temple for the devotees visiting the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine and various other religious places in Jammu region.
Earlier, in his welcome address, Vishwa Mitter, elaborated the social activities of the Trust and future programmes. YR Gupta, Krishnan kutty, BB Vaid, Ashok Gupta, Vinod Malhotra, DP Sharma, Rajeev Gupta, Jatinder Gupta Gupta, Vijay Singh and others were also present.
During the function, Ashok Khajuria was honoured in recognition of his services as MLC by presenting a shawl by the president of the Trust, Shiv Partap Gupta, who thanked the MLC for snactioning funds for construction of mini-hall in the Temple complex.
The Trust president said that he along with his team is committed to work for the people and they will continue to serve them with dedication.
