REASI, Sept 16: Congress MLC Jugal Kishore Sharma visited Dhannu in Reasi Constituency and assessed the pace of ongoing developmental works going on in the village and its peripheral areas.
On the occasion, a public meeting was organized wherein the Sarpanchs of Dhannu and adjoining Panchayats including Sandrani and Seen Brahmana of Block Udhampur participated and apprised the MLC of various demands which include up gradation of schools, new Water Supply Scheme (WSS) for village Dhannu and improvement in power supply besides other issues related to development of their respective Panchayats.
The MLC supported the demand of up-gradation of Govt High Schools at Cherayi and Seen Brahmana to the level of Higher Secondary while up-gradation of two Govt Middle Schools at Dhannu and Muttal to the level of High School. He assured the public that he will put in all his efforts to project these demands.
