MLA Nowshera visits border villages

NOWSHERA, Feb 11: Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Ravinder Raina on today visited the border villages of Nowshera tehsil to take on the spot assessment of the situation prevailing in the area.
Ravinder Raina accompanied with senior police officials visited Lam, Kalsia and Janghar villages, which fall near the Actual Line of Control (ALoC) and listened to the problems being faced by the people living in these villages.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Raina lauded the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) for its dedicated and exemplary service to the nation for the betterment of common masses.
He also praised JKP which in association with Army and paramilitary forces did a commendable job in restoring peace and normalcy in the border belt of Nowshera-Sunderbani Constituency.
He said that BJP after forming Government in the State will modernize the JKP which would further enhance its efficiency and accountability.
He assured to the people that the BJP Government in State will sort out all the pending issues of the people living in tough conditions and facing many problems particularly during wars and heavy shelling from across the border.
Raina asserted that being MLA, he will leave no stone unturned to provide assistance to the people who suffered losses in terms of damage to their houses, cattle, land, crops etc.
