KATHUA, Feb 11: A four day national workshop on the topic “Methodological Issues in Educational Research” commenced today at Rajiv Gandhi Memorial College of Education, here. The workshop was organized in collaboration with Directorate of Internal Quality Assurance, University of Jammu.
The workshop was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu, Prof RD Sharma in presence of Director, Directorate of Quality Assurance University of Jammu, Dr Meenakshi Kilam, Prof Emeritus HP University, Prof Lokesh Koul, Rector Kathua Campus, Prof Neelu Rohmetra, Chairperson, Rajiv Gandhi Memorial College of Education, Anu Dogra, Chairpersons and Principals of various colleges were also present.
Prof Lokesh Koul while delivering keynote address spoke on the concept of research, nature of education as a discipline and an overview of the Methodological Issues in Educational Research.
Prof Lokesh Koul was resource person for the first technical session while Prof H R Shan, MIER College of Education was the resource person for the second technical session. The Group Activity session was conducted jointly by Dr SK Panda and Dr Kajal Manhas, Asstt Professors, University of Jammu.
Earlier, Dr GP Sachdev, Principal, Rajiv Gandhi Memorial College of Education, Kathua presented the welcome address and in the end, Anu Dogra delivered vote of thanks.
