JAMMU, Oct 19: MLA Raipur Domana, Bharat Bushan today laid the foundation stone of village Kangrail to be developed as model village in his Constituency at a cost of Rs 1.20 crore.
The MLA said that besides lanes and drains, community hall and play ground will be constructed in the village. Four hand pumps will also be dug in the village for providing drinking water facilities to people, he added.
The MLA also inaugurated 250 KV and 100 KV transformer at J K Colony, Paloura and Machlian in Mishriwala respectively.
At J K Colony former BJP State president Shamsher Singh Manhas was also present. He while highlighting the role of present Union Government led by Narendera Modi asked the people to strengthen the Party and ensure its victory in the coming Assembly poll in the State and make BJP’s Mission 44+ a success.
Vijay Sharma, chairman Welfare Committee of the Colony, Balbir Singh Manhas, ex Sarpanch Paloura, Joginder Singh Manhas PDP leader and others addressed the function.
