DODA, Sept 13: Former MoS and MLA Doda, Shakti Raj Parihar laid the foundation stone of motorable bridge over river Chenab at Sui Gwari, Prem Nagar here.
The bridge has been funded by Central Road Funds programme with an estimated cost of Rs 15 crore.
Addressing a gathering, after laying the foundation stone for the project, the MLA said: “It is the endeavor of present dispensation to build strong and durable assets under Central Road Funds programme for larger benefit of the people.”
He further said that development is a common cause which is being pursued with utmost zeal and dedication and “we will not let any politics hamper growth of the state.”
Further Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda said that the local administration is always ready for developmental works and for the welfare of the people.
Xen R&B and officials of R&B, BJP District Vice Presidents, BJYM Vice President, Mandal Presidents Doda, Jodhpur, Mohalla and others were also present on the occasion.
