MLA Jammu West flags off relief ambulance

JAMMU, Sept 19: Former Minister of State for Defence and presently MLA Jammu West Assembly Constituency, Prof Chaman Lal Gupta today flagged off an ambulance containing relief material for flood victims
The relief material included 1200 blankets, 150 ladies shawls, 1200 biscuit packets and 1000 packets of food material out of which 400 blankets were provided by Indian Society of Blood Transfusion and Immunohamatology (ISBTI) National body through Dr TR Raina, administrator, Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission Charitable Hospital Amphalla (Jammu) and secretary general of the Society.
500 blankets, 1200 biscuits packets and 150 ladies shawls were arranged by Rajiv Chuni, chairman, SOS International, an organization for the displaced persons from PoK and 300 blankets were made available by the donations made by the doctors of Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission Charitable Hospital, Amphalla.
1000 packets containing food items were provided by Red Cross Society Patiala, Punjab, through Ravi Puri, Secretary, Regional Red Cross Society, Jammu.
The relief material is meant for the flood victims of villages of Sunderbani, Nowshera, Kalakote and Rajouri areas.
