JAMMU, Sept 22: MLA Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta inaugurated a jewellery shop by the name of Krishan Kanaiya Jewellers at Jain Bazaar, here today.
The newly inaugurated showroom displayed the latest trends in modern jewellery and also the traditional design.
The owner of the showroom Kedar Nath Nischal and Suraj Nischal said that the showroom would be offering its customers the best services in terms of purity of gold and craftsmanship in design.
An impressive function was organized on the occasion of the opening ceremony in the traditional manner and MLA Rajesh Gupta along with his entourage was welcomed with great fervour. He was accompanied by Mahant ji of Jai Krishan Mandir, Partap Garh.
Mr Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that the opening of new showroom augers well for the development of business and commerce in Jammu.
He further said that the development of business in Jammu East would lead to increased employment opportunities for the youth, adding that his emphasis is on the development of infrastructure in Jammu East so that more and more business opportunities are created and people find it easier to visit the old and traditional Bazaars of Jammu.
He said the Bazaars of Purani Mandi, Pacca Danga and Jain Bazaar etc offer not only merchandise of articles of usage but are very pleasant to walk through as they provide a nice shade in the month of summers also.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Montu Abrol, Dalip Gupta, Rajinder Gupta and Prof Sham.
