RAMBAN, Mar 30: Member Legislative Assembly, Ramban, Neelam Kumar Langeh inaugurated renovation work of lab building in the premises of Government Higher Secondary School, here today.
The building was renovated at an estimated cost of over Rs 5.5 lakh under Constituency Development Fund (CDF) of MLA Ramban.
Chief Education Officer (CEO) Ramban Mohd Sharief, principal and staff members of the school were present during the function.
Speaking on the occasion MLA stressed upon the teaching community to improve the standard of education in Government schools besides asking them to work with zeal and dedication.
He further said that education sector is on the priority of Coalition Government and efforts are afoot to develop academic as well as infrastructure aspect of education system.
He impressed upon the student to restrict themselves from drug addiction which is a major threat to the society. He advised them to take part in sports activities for their overall development.
