KATHUA, May 21: While inaugurating development works worth Rs 408 lakh, BJP MLA from Kathua Rajiv Jasrotia today said that he was determined to carry forward the agenda of equitable development in every nook and corner of the constituency.
“The Government is committed to fulfill its promises made to people on development front and strengthen the economic profile of the State besides bringing in visible improvement in public service delivery system,” he said while addressing public gathering after inaugurating Kathua Kalibari road to Hatli Morh at the cost of Rs 2.95 crore, Jarai Bhagthali road to Chambe-Da-Bagh at Rs 24 lakh, black topping of road from OSK to Bole-Da-Band at Rs 90 lakh – a part of Rs 4.83 crores project,  which is near completion with expenditure of Rs  408 lakh.
Claiming that the administration was back on rails, he told the party workers and office bearers to stick to party agenda of peace, development and reconciliation. He advised workers to take “good work of Government and party” to the gross-roots level so that common masses become the real beneficiaries. “We have a vision of equitable development of all the regions of State and are moving ahead with great zeal to carry forward the welfare mission to take the State on the path of development and prosperity”, he added.
MLA said that Coalition Government was committed to strengthen infrastructure of the State for which many ambitious projects are being launched besides flagship programmes in every nook and corner of the State”. He said these programmes have greatly helped generation of employment opportunities for job seeking youth besides providing better road connectivity, safe drinking water, healthcare services and education infrastructure across the State. He appealed youth to come forward and avail the benefits of self-employment schemes launched by the State and Central Governments. He asked them to strengthen the hands of Government to ensure prosperous future of the State. MLA cautioned the people against the political groups, which are bent upon to divide the masses on religious, caste and regional lines. He appealed common masses to supplement Govt’s efforts of ensuring overall growth of the State.
