BISHNAH, Sept 18: MLA Bishnah, Ashwani Kumar Sharma, inaugurated the newly constructed gate of Government Degree College, Bishnah, here today.
Earlier Principal of the College, Kalpana Kesar, welcomed the MLA by presenting a bouquet while Dr Vijay Sharma and Prof Jugal Kishore along with non-teaching staff and students of the College garlanded the chief guest.
About 100 NSS volunteers also gave a warm welcome to the MLA by applying Tilak and with NSS clap.
Addressing the students, the chief guest stressed upon the academic development of the College.
Principal of the College thanked the MLA for his consistent help in the infrastructural and academic growth of the institution.
Among others present on the occasion were, Prof Hardeep Kour, Prof Archana Bakshi, Prof Sunita Gupta, Dr Alka Sharma, Dr Seema Jamwal and many others.
