UDHAMPUR, May 4: MLA Udhampur Pawan Kumar Gupta today inaugurated 63 KVA Sub Station at Dedrha Gujjar Mohalla Jakhar, which has been built from his CDF.
With the inauguration of this Sub-Station, MLA Pawan Gupta has fulfilled a long pending demand of residents of Dedrha Gujjar Mohalla Jakhar.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that these areas were facing power crisis from the past several years and with the setting up of new Sub-Station, locals would get a major relief.
Reiterating his commitment for ensuring all round development of entire Udhampur Assembly constituency, the MLA assured residents of the area that all their legitimate demands would be fulfilled in a phased manner.
The locals appreciated the MLA and said that a new chapter of development will begin here. The MLA has fulfilled his election commitment. The installation of transformer redressed the problem faced by people, especially women and students, he added.
During the inauguration, Pawan Gupta was accompanied by PDD officials, RDD and PHE officials, dozens of local residents and political activists of the area.
