JAMMU, Apr 27: Mission Shakti District Hub for Empowerment of Women, Department of Social Welfare, J&K, organised a meditation session for students undergoing training under Himayat Mission at Ranjit College of Education.
The session saw enthusiastic participation from both students and staff, with a focus on promoting mental well-being and effective stress management.
Dr. Manisha Gupta from Department of AYUSH, delivered an insightful and engaging introduction to meditation practices. She emphasised the importance of incorporating meditation into daily routines to enhance concentration, maintain emotional balance, and improve overall health.
Participants were guided through simple and practical meditation techniques designed to reduce stress and foster inner peace-especially relevant in today’s fast-paced and demanding lifestyle.
District Mission Coordinator Mission Shakti Shagun Manchanda highlighted the growing significance of meditation in managing stress and sustaining mental well-being. She encouraged students to adopt meditation as a regular practice for leading a healthier and more balanced life.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Abhishek Sharma , District Programme Manager Jammu ,Himayat, who appreciated the efforts of Mission Shakti and all participants in making the programme a success.
