Srinagar, Aug 10: Police today recovered a toddler who had gone missing from Hari Singh High Street area of City Centre here.
A police spokesman said that a person namely Puran Chand of Punjab, who at present resides at Natipora here, lodged a complaint in Shaheed Gunj police station that his 2 year old niece, Anokhi, got missing at 2 pm.
“On this, Station House Officer (SHO) constituted a team and started a search operation. During the operation, the missing girl was recovered from Maharaja Bazar area within two hours and was handed over to her parents,” the spokesman added.
