JAMMU, July 26: A man, who was missing for the past over three days, was found dead in a canal in Khour area of Tehsil Akhnoor.
As per police sources, body of 42-year-old Joginder Lal, son of Chattu Ram of Camp Khour was found from canal in Khour. The man was missing from his residence since July 24.
On getting information, police team from Khour Police Station led by Inspector Surinder Raina under the supervision of SDPO Farooq Qaiser rushed to the spot and shifted the body to hospital, where after conducting legal formalities, the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
Khour police has taken cognizance in this regard.
