Missing girl traced out

Srinagar, Sept 5: Police today said it have traced out a missing girl of Anantnag district of south Kashmir.
A police spokesman said that on September 4, police station Mattan in Anantnag district received a written complaint from one person namely Irshad Ahmad Bakshi of Ranberpora Keherbal village of Mattan that his niece 12 year-old niece is missing from her home.
“In this regard a missing report was lodged in police station Mattan and investigation set into motion,” the spokesman said, adding that after strenuous efforts, police traced out the missing girl from Amargarh locality of Sopore in Baramulla district. After completion of legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her parents, he said.
