JAMMU, June 4: Khour police today rescued a minor girl and arrested the kidnapper.
As per police sources, father of a minor girl hailing from Khour filed a complaint with police station Khour alleging that his minor daughter has been kidnapped by Rakesh Singh alias Kala, son of Joginder Singh of Narayana, tehsil Akhnoor.
Acting swiftly, police rescued the girl and arrested the kidnapper from a hideout.
The girl was handed over to family members after completing legal formalities.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team headed by SHO Khour Surinder Raina made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Farooq Qaiser and ASP Jammu ML Kaith.
