JAMMU, June 4: Shree Toyota today unveiled the new “Corolla Altis” here today.
The new 11th generation Toyota Corolla Altis is available in both petrol and diesel in nine variants. While the petrol line starts at Rs 12.11 lakh, the diesel range begins from Rs 13.19 lakh.
Changes in the new car include a fresh face complete with LED headlamps, new radiator grille, R16 alloy wheels, rear chrome garnish and LED tail lamps.
Shree Toyota is also offering the new Altis with an accessory package called ‘the benchmark collection’. This adds more chrome and daytime running lamps to add to the external aesthetics.
While speaking on the occasion Manik Batra, Director Batra Group said “The Corolla accounts for one in every five vehicles sold by Toyota in the 76-year history. In 1997, it became the best selling model globally with cumulative sales exceeding 22.65 million units. More than a million units have been sold each year since 2002”.
Commenting on the launch, Bhisham Batra, CEO, Shree Toyota said “Corolla is the world’s most favorite car. It is the world’s No 1 car with more than 40 million cars sold across the globe. We are glad to launch the 11th generation of this global car in Jammu. We are offering upto 100 per cent finance for a period of 7 years through Toyota Financial Services so that more people can become proud owners of the 11th Generation Altis”.
