JAMMU, Mar 4: A minor girl was sexually assaulted in RS Pura area of city outskirts.
A police official said that a woman today submitted a written complained a police station RS Pura stating that a man namely Deepak Sharma alias Raju, son of Isher Dass, resident of Badyal Brahmana, entered in her house and attempted to rape her 8-year-old daughter.
He said on the complaint of the mother, a case FIR number 29/19 U/S 3/4/5 (i)/18 PCSVO Act stand registered at police station RS Pura and acting swiftly a police team headed by SHO RS Pura, Inspector Chanchal Singh apprehended the accused in a shortest possible time.
