JAMMU, July 30: Sarwal Police rescued a kidnapped minor girl from Srinagar and arrested the abductor.
As per police sources, while investigation a case registered under FIR Number 110/2021 under Section 363 IPC with Police Station Bakshi Nagar, a team from Police Post Sarwal conducted series of raids in different areas and finally rescued the kidnapped minor from Srinagar.
After completing legal formalities, the girl was handed over to legal heirs.
However, the abductor, who is juvenile, has been sent to Bal Ashram at RS Pura on the direction of the Court.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by Incharge Police Post Sarwal SI Yougal Sharma solved the kidnapping case under the supervision of SDPO West Rahul Nagar and SP North Jammu Mohita Sharma.
