RAJOURI, Oct 12: A 15-year-old girl was allegedly gang-rapped by two jawans and a local at village Pannad in Darhal area of Rajouri district.
While one of the accused is from CRPF, presently posted in Srinagar another one is from IRP and is presently attached with a sitting MLA. Darhal police party led by SHO ( Prob DySP), Musadiq Basu has arrested two persons including a CRPF jawan for committing alleged rape on the girl hailing from the same village. The girl was kidnapped and taken to an isolated place where all the three took turns to commit sexual assault on her.
She later narrated the matter to her family. The parents moved to the Police Station today and revealed the matter. The police sent the girl for medical examination to district hospital and raided different locations. Statement of the girl has been recorded. The two accused were nabbed while third one, an IRP jawan, was absconding.
A senior police officials identified the accused as Shamsheer Ahmed, son of Mohd Azam and Kabir Hussain (CRPF jawan), son of Munir Hussain, both residents of Pannad in Darhal. Bashrat Hussain, son of Gulzar Hussain of Pannad, who is from IRP and presently deployed with an MLA as PSO, from the same district was absconding. He said the police parties were conducting raids at different places to nab him. A case FIR No. 56/2013 has been registered against them.
