SRINAGAR, May 9: A minor girl died while her parents and aunt were injured in a tragic road mishap at Sumbal area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district late Tuesday night.
SSP Bandipora Zulfikar Azad said that a vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge near Churchang area of Ajas resulting in injuries to four members of a family.
The injured include Aijaz Ahmad Mir, his wife Shahzada, daughter Rinshah and sister Rani, all residents of Nawaabad, Safapora.
“All the injured were shifted to nearby hospital where Rinshah succumbed to injuries while the three other injured were referred to Srinagar hospital for specialized treatment,” the officer said.
