JAMMU, July 16: Three final year students from Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) got placed in US-based Manhattan Associates, Bengaluru at an annual salary package of Rs 5.3 lakhs per annum.
The students were shortlisted based on their performance in 7-step recruitment process which included multiple coding tests and technical and personal interviews. The selected students are Vineet Bhan, Sumant Pangotra and Chandan Kotwal. They have been selected for the profile of Associate Network Operations Center Analyst – Cloud and Associate Cloud Systems Engineer, based out of Bengaluru.
It may be mentioned here that due to the consistent performance and achievement of long-term outcomes by MIET, it was recently ranked 77th across all private engineering colleges in India by the reputed DataQuest magazine. Further, it is the only NAAC “A” grade accredited technical institution in J&K and recently accorded permanent affiliation by the University of Jammu.
