MIET records stellar placement season across all programs

JAMMU, June 14: The Training and Placement Cell at Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), Jammu successfully concluded a highly encouraging placement season for the graduating batch of 2025, securing over 230 offer letters across its Engineering, Management, Computer Applications and Commerce programs.
This year, the highest salary package touched Rs 12.45 Lakh per annum, while the median package stood at Rs 4.58 Lakh per annum.
A total of 230 students received job offers from 60 plus top-tier recruiting organizations. Notably, 80 percent of the eligible students from the Engineering programs and 100 percent from the School of Management secured placements, reflecting the strong industry confidence in the academic rigor and talent pool at MIET.
The stellar placement outcomes were attained during a period of reduced industry hiring and challenging geo-political and economic environment, which is a testament to the student quality and the training and placement support at MIET.
Students from the B Tech programs secured 150 offers of placement from leading organizations such as Vedanta Resources, TCS, BigBasket, PayTM, Successive Digital, Intellivate Technologies, ZopSmart, Cognizant, Celebal AI, Tech Mahindra, Intellipaat Technologies and Atomic North. This year saw encouraging hiring from core engineering firms for Civil Engineering including Sobha Developers, Cemtics Solutions, Berger Group and ASC International. The School of Management students received 80 offers of placement, across MBA, BBA, and B Com programs at companies such as ICICI Bank, Bluepond.ai, Bharti AXA, Ditto Insurance, ICICI Prudential, Springworks, and Codeyoung. The
UG programs at MIET, BBA (Hons.) and B.Com (Hons.) recorded the highest median salary at 5.0 Lakhs per annum.
