JAMMU, Sept 5: A free physiotherapy camp was organized by Jammu College of Physiotherapy at Gurha Brahmna, Bantalab, here today.
The camp was organized to screen various musculoskeletal and neurological problems among elderly patients. Team, comprising of Dr Akhil, Dr Tania, Dr Radhika and Final Prof of BPT students of the college, examined about 55-60 patients.
Beside checkup, a group class session was taken for the patients to education them regarding the importance of life style and also regarding the importance of maintaining good posture in prevention of musculoskeletal disorders. Team of doctor also educated patients regarding back care.
Chairperson of the College, Suman Sharma appreciated the efforts of the College and directed the Principal of the College to continue with the same dedication in future also to help and serve the needy people who usually do not have access to these treatments. Principal of the College, Dr Navinder Pal Singh lauded the efforts of the faculty for organizing such camps.
