KALAKOT, May 5: A medical check-up camp was organized by Jammu & Kashmir Minerals Limited (JKMl) at Metka Coal Mine for coal mine workers of the Corporation, here today.
The camp was organized with active support of Dr Wasim Chauhan and Dr Shokat Bandey, Medical Officers Government Community Health Center, Kalakot .
The medical camp was first of its initiative taken by Vikram Gupta, Managing Director, J&K Minerals Limited, for the benefit of coal mine workers and their families.
The facilities included general health check-up, blood pressure, sugar level and also free medicines (antibiotic, multi vitamins etc ) were provided to the workers. About 300 hundred coal workers and their families availed the benefit of the medical camp.
