JAMMU, June 12: A free medical check-up camp was organized by SRL Diagnostics at Evergreen Public School, Bhagwan Chak, Pallanwala, under the supervision of Maj. Dr. Karan Singh.
More than 100 people got themselves examined in the camp and the doctors advised them not to venture in the sun unnecessarily and cover nose and mouth.
Organizer of the medical camp was Dr. Vishal Gupta while others present on the occasion were vice chairman, Suraj Singh Bhau, DDC member, Dr. Suresh Magotra, In-charge political feedback J&K, Jagdev Singh, Peshal Bhau, Kuldeep Singh and Rekha Bhau. The vice chairman, Suraj Singh and other dignitaries also got themselves examined in the camp along with the Principal and staff of the School.
On this occasion DDC member, Suraj Singh interacted with the locals who raised their issues with him and demanded renovation of the hospital at Pallanwala area.
They also demanded that Specialist doctors must visit the hospital.
Suraj Singh promised renovation of hospital soon.
Earlier the welcome address was given by Prof. Dr. Karan Singh and the function concluded with vote of thanks by retired lecturer, Jagdev Singh.
