Medical camp held at BSF Paloura

JAMMU, Jan 24: A medical camp was organized at BSF Paloura near here, today. Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr Rajeev Verma, Gastroenterologist, Dr Manoj Gupta, Cardiologist, Dr Sanjay Kumar of Manipal Hospital, New Delhi participated and gave their valuable services for the families, children and serving persons of BSF.
Dr. A K Sahi, Commandant (Medical) BSF Jammu organized this camp and gave welcome address on the occasion.
The medical camp was inaugurated by BWWA, President Rajni Jamwal. On this occasion, Rajni Jamwal complimented the team of doctors of Manipal Hospital, New Delhi for giving their valuable service for the BSF personals and their families. She said that overeating, lack of exercise, unhealthy diet and high blood pressure, raised cholesterol and glucose level are all factors which can trigger heart diseases and threaten human beings. She emphasized that heart problem can be prevented by taking due precautions and changing lifestyle.
About 250 BSF personnel and their families were present on the occasion and were immensely benefited from this medical camp.
