UDHAMPUR, Jan 24: An elderly man was found dead under mysterious circumstances near his house at village Childi, under the jurisdiction of Chenani Police station.
The deceased was identified as Karan Singh (52), son of Biju, resident of Childi, Tehsil Chenani. On being informed, Police shifted the dead body to Sub District Hospital Chenani. After postmortem and other legal formalities, the body was handed over to the family members for last rites.
Exact cause of death was not ascertained so far while Police has registered the case for further investigation.
