JAMMU, Nov 13: Mechanical Engineering Department (MED) Clerical Employees’ Association today highlighted their demands in a meeting held here today under the leadership of Vikas Chander, president of the association.
The members demanded implementation of High Court Order vide SWP No 3058/2015 followed by contempt No 25/2016, regarding removal of pay anomalies of the clerical cadre, in letter and spirit at the earliest. They also demanded implementation of 7th Pay Commission report.
Meanwhile, the association also decided to give support to the pen down strike on November 16 and 17, the call of which is given by Jammu Kashmir Ladakh All Departmental Clerical Staff Association.
The president appealed all clerical cadre of the department to make pen down strike successful in all respects and take the struggle to the logical conclusion.
