MEA dismisses Pakistani denial of its involvement in Pulwama

NEW DELHI: India’s diplomatic offensive to expose and isolate Pakistan continued for the second day on Saturday and the Government outright yet again rejected Islamabad’s denial of Pakistani hands behind the February 14 Pulwama terror attack.

Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale and other Secretaries in the Ministry of External Affairs held a series of meeting a number of resident envoys in Delhi including ASEAN Ambassadors.

Sources said envoys from Gulf Cooperation Council, Central Asia and Africa amongst others also were invited for meeting.
“Foreign Secretary Gokhale and other Secretaries strongly rejected the denial by Pakistan of its involvement. They also highlighted the role of Pakistan in using terrorism as an instrument of its state policy,” the source said. (AGENCIES)
