Jammu, Sept 23: Implementing the warrants of court in cheque bounce to the tune of Rs 9.5 crore, Channi-Himmat Police today arrested RK Sharma, Managing Director of M/s Ishan Developers and Infrastructure Ltd, who was not appearing in a case under Section 138 of N/I Act (cheque bounce case) filed against him in the court of Special Mobile Magistrate Electricity Jammu.
RK Sharma, Managing Director of M/s Ishan Developers and Infrastructure Ltd issued two cheques amounting to Rs 5 crore each and one cheque amounting to Rs 4.50 crore, which were dishonoured by bank authorities for not having money in his account. The court has issued Non Bailable Warrant against the accused and next date of hearing has been fixed on October 9, 2014.
