JAMMU, Feb 1: JMC Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta along with Raj Kumar Chairman Public Health and Sanitation Committee JMC, Commissioner Avny Lavasa conducted a tour of Municipal site land at Bandurakh near Kunjwani to take stock of the ongoing various development activities, here today.
Sudhir Bali, Assistant Commissioner (Rev) JMC, Firdous Ahmed Qazi, Executive Engineer (Projects), Satish Kumar Langer, Executive Engineer, Division-IV, Harvinder Singh Chief Transport Officer Zone III JMC, Neeraj Vaid Assistant Executive Engineer (Project), Janak Singh Saini Assistant Executive Engineer Work Division IV and other supervisory staff of the project were present during the tour.
The Mayor along with JMC Chairman and Commissioner went round the whole complex and directed the Assistant Commissioner (Rev) for properly demarcation of Municipal land at this site in collaboration with the concerned Revenue authorities of District administration on priority basis, so that the fencing as well as construction of protection wall at the entire land can be done accordingly and no person may encroach the precious municipal land illegally.
He also reviewed the ongoing construction work of a cow shed with proper separate chambers of horses, veterinary doctor’s room, chowkidar’s room and other such development works at the site and issued on spot directions to get it completed within stipulated time frame.
He also directed to start the work of the prestigious solid waste management project under SWM as early as possible as the necessary tender of this project has already been floated so that Jammu can be taken towards becoming a neat, clean and green city.
